Problem & Solution
The redesign of the creation and login pages
Problem:
Users found the account creation and login pages confusing and difficult to navigate, leading to frequent support requests.
Solution:
A UX/UI redesign simplified these user flows, implementing clear instructions, intuitive layouts, and consistent design elements to enhance usability and reduce friction.
Process
In 3 steps
Step 1
User Tests
A Guerilla test was conducted with a coworker at a train station in Paris district 13 in December 2019, involving 3 men and 3 women aged 24 to 52 with various professions.
Step 2
User Feedback
The overall user flow required minor changes, but some UI elements needed improvement. For example, certain text areas were too bulky, and the password requirements were not clear enough.
Step 3
The final mockups successfully recreated the account creation, login, and forgot password user flows, incorporating more user-friendly text layouts and more accessible colors and elements.
